Our Veterans

The past and present sacrifices of our men and women in uniform are unparalleled by any other.  We owe a great debt of gratitude that we will never be able to repay.  Jack is committed to ensuring that our government provides and cares for our Veterans.  It’s the least we can do.

Jack will propose recovery legislation that would provide a 12 month transition program placing veterans who are returning to the United States into the work force with employment mentors.

The Veterans Introduction Program (VIP) is legislation that Jack Lugar will propose once he is elected to Congress. One of Jack’s desires in talking to people in the military is to provide jobs as they leave the service by helping them get connected into business in the private sector. The goal of VIP is to help create and sustain jobs for those who have sacrificially served our country.

We are interested in hearing from people in the military so we can learn what their true needs are and how VIP can most benefit them as we search for companies to partner with us. Our hope is to gain support in Congress and implement this as a federal program.

Please feel free to send your ideas to elugar@lugarforcongress.com, register for our weekly newsletter.

Jack is committed to being accessible and regularly meeting with concerned citizens. If you are a veteran, contact Jack to discuss legislation you would like to see enacted in Congress.
