Jobs and the Economy
It’s no secret to Americans. Our unemployment rate is at record highs, and we are facing the worst economic crisis of our lifetimes. But Congress and the President refuse to make difficult decisions. Playing the political game is no longer acceptable in the face of such dire consequences.
Jack will take action right now. Job creation is key to growing our economy. As a successful businessman, Jack knows first hand how creating a single job positively impacts the economy in so many ways.
Those that deny it ignore the facts and common sense. That newly employed Hoosier will buy groceries, get her car fixed, purchase work clothes, be able to afford a house, and the list goes on. That one new job has a tremendous ripple effect on the economy. Businesses must make a profit.
To help stimulate the economy, Jack will introduce legislation to create jobs and grow America the right way. Jack will introduce legislation that would give tax breaks to employers that hire and retain new employees on the unemployment rolls.
Jack’s plan would pay for itself, over and over, financially. In addition to growing the economy naturally, Jack’s plan would keep jobs in the U.S. where they belong and businesses making a profit.
