Jack would quickly move to repeal ObamaCare. The law takes choices away from patients, reduces quality, imposes unreasonable financial burdens on employers (which discourages hiring), and fixes nothing. Jack believes that it is one of the worst pieces of legislation in modern history.
Prior to ObamaCare, the health care system was broken – no doubt. But this legislation has made the problem far worse than if the government did nothing at all. After undoing the law, Jack will focus on proactive measures that will incentivize businesses to provide high quality health care, create private-public and faith-based partnerships that will provide quality health care to those in need.
Jack will also introduce legislation that will require insurance companies to consider cooperative groups and large organizations – to allow them to utilize the buying power of their members in obtaining health insurance.
Jack’s initiatives would fix the real problems without creating new ones.
